Can I trim my trees right now?

This is a question that we hear a lot this time of year. If you haven't trimmed your citrus or pine trees, now is not the time to do so. These trees will suffer from extensive pruning and right now our arborists are only offering dead wood reduction. Waiting until the fall will give these trees the best chance of survival through what's sure to be a summer scorcher.

Alternatively, we encourage trimming your resilient desert trees before the monsoon storm season. We've already seen several days of high winds this year along with tree failure all around the valley. Trimming your desert trees will reduce the risk of them falling over and limbs breaking and will beautify your home landscape.
